Columbia will have a one-time change of service time on March 12th.  Sabbath service will start at 10:30 am.  This will allow everyone to vacate the hall before the street closing at 1:30 pm.  The congregational Bible study scheduled has been cancelled.  A date will be set at a later date.

The combined Augusta and Columbia winter social is just one week from now. Make plans now to attend our cook-out and social Sunday, February 21st.  We plan to eat at noon.  Roasted leg of lamb and grilled chicken will be provided as the main entrée.  Each family is to plan on bringing a side dish (vegetable or salad) or a dessert along with your choice of beverage.  Weather permitting outdoor activities will include volleyball, croquet, corn toss, horseshoes and for the youth, organized field games.  Bring your favorite table games and/or a stringed instrument for some pickin’ and grinnin’ inside the building.  For planning purposes, please sign the list on the information table today.  Maps are available on the information table.

Sabbath, January 30th

Augusta and Columbia will have a combined service on Sabbath of January 30th at the Columbia church hall.  A full-time elder serving in the Jefferson, GA congregation and his wife and children will be our guests; he will bring us the sermon.  The service will be followed by a potluck dinner and game night. This year, rather than having one organized game (like Bunco), everyone is encouraged to bring your favorite table games.

We are planning another winter cook-out & social on Sunday, February 21st.  Reserve the date for this all-day activity and stay tuned for more information as the date approaches!

Sabbath, January 9th

Florence will have a one-time change of service time on January 9th.  Sabbath service will be held at 10 AM.  We will resume at our normal meeting time of 10:30 the following Sabbath.

Sabbath, January 16th

Augusta will have a one-time change of service time on January 16th.  Sabbath service will be held at 1 PM.  We will resume at our normal meeting time of 11:00 AM the following Sabbath.

On Sabbath, January 9th, we will have an elder and his wife visiting from the HO in Allen, TX. Florence will meet at 10 AM at the regular hall with a potluck following service.  Augusta will combine with Columbia at the Columbia church hall at 3 PM.  Refreshments will follow the combined service.
