The Florence brethren will enjoy a wonderful fellowship meal together after services on March 2nd. This is not a themed fellowship meal, so any food item that you would like to bring is fine. 

Sabbath February 17 - Columbia Fellowship Meal & Game Night

Mark you calendars! On February 17th the Columbia congregation will be hosting a fellowship meal and game night. Make your favoritie wintertime fare for the meal. After sunset, stay and play some minute-to-win-it style games. Come ready to participate in an evening of fun and fellowship!

Sabbath January 20 - Columbia Themed Fellowship Meal & Variety Show

Columbia is hosting a kick off our first social with the incoming pastor with a themed fellowship meal. We ask that everyone bring a meal, side dish, dessert, or beverage that begins with a letter of either your first or last name - along with a name card with said description. The alphabet themed meal is sure to spark some creativity!

Following the fellowship meal, there will be a variety show. The ideas are endless - ranging from skits, songs, reading a poem, demonstrating a hobby, etcetera. For those interested in participating in the variety show or for more info on the themed fellowship meal, please refer to the weekly announcements posted on the info table/board for contact info.

Sabbath of March 25th in Columbia, we will be honoring the seniors with a special dinner.  The main course will be provided, but ask members in the congregation to contribute to this special occasion by signing up for two of the items listed on the sign-up list on the information table. Columbia is having a fellowship meal and social Sabbath of February 25th. After sunset, a "Minute to Win It" game will be played. Everyone is encouraged to stay and break bread and attend the social. For more details, consult the February bulletin for names of individuals organizing the event.

January 7 - Aug & Col Combined Service & Boot Scoot Fundraiser Social

Augusta and Columbia will combine at Columbia's church hall Sabbath of January 7th at 3 PM. After services a fellowship meal with a Tex-Mex theme is planned. After sunset, we will begin our Boot Scoot fundraiser by collecting items and assembling the baskets, which will be shipped to Texas to be auctioned off. Everyone is encouraged to wear "western" attire for the social. Other activities are planned, such as Karaoke. Bring your cowboy boots and hats and best western attire; prizes will be awarded for the best dressed adult and the best dressed child!

Sabbath December 24 - Live WFW Webcast 2:30 PM ET

The Augusta, Columbia, and Florence congregations will be tuning into the WFW Webcast, so there will be a one-time change in the start of service on Sabbath of December 24. The starting time will be at 2:30 PM ET, but we ask that you please be seated 15 minutes or more before. Those unable to attend in-person services may watch the live webcast (and the Friday night Bible study) by going to COGWA.TV or on the COGWA ROKU channel. Sabbath of October 29

After the Feast of Tabernacles, services will be held in all 3 congregations (Augusta, Columbia, Florence) at the regular time and place.

Sabbath of October 8

The opening service for the Feast of Tabernacles will be Sunday evening, October 9. Many members are leaving for the Feast in time to arrive at the site to attend services on the Sabbath of October 8. Therefore, local services are cancelled in the Augusta and Florence congregations. However, services will be held in Columbia at 2 PM via live webcast from Greenville, SC.

The Columbia congregation will be hosting services on July 23rd and will be combining with the Augusta congregation. Services are at 3 PM and will be held at a different location. That Sabbath will also be the day that staff and some campers arrive for the start of teen camp. So, in order to be hospitable to those guests coming in, Augusta & Columbia will provide a potluck meal after services.

Our annual spring picnic is Sunday, May 15th.  It will be held at a beautiful place. Check out the info table for the location or consult the pastor.

Plan to arrive at 11 AM, unless you are on set up, and we will eat at around 12 noon. The meat is provided, but we are asking everyone to bring a side dish, dessert, and beverage.

Chili Cook-Off / Name that Tune Social, Feb 12th

Our Chili Cook-Off Contest has been reschedule to Feb 12. After the potluck we will be hosting a game show night, "Name that Tune." For more information, please refer to the Sabbath note on the info table. This will be a fun and enjoyable event for all, so be sure to participate.

Due to a winter advisory, morning Sabbath services on January 22nd in Augusta and Florence have been cancelled. Columbia services are on hold and there will be no local live webcast. Columbia’s Chili Cook-Off Social - Postponed

Chili Cook-Off Social, January 22, 2022

The Columbia congregation will be hosting a Chili Cook-Off potluck on January 22nd. Bring your favorite chili to have a chance to be the Chili Champion! Families are also asked to bring their choice of sides, desserts, and/or drinks. Judges will be scoring each chili entered into the cook-off based on taste to determine the Best Overall Chili.

For planning purposes, if you are interested in being a judge or if you are considering entering the cook-off (entrants are asked to provide the name of their chili well in advance), please see the point of contact listed in the weekly announcements on the info table as soon as possible.

Post-Feast Potluck & FOI Auction Fundraiser moved to Oct 23rd

Due to unforseen circumstances, the Post-Feast Potluck & FOI Auction Fundraiser has been moved from Oct 9 to Oct 23rd.

Augusta & Columbia will combine for Sabbath services at 3 pm. A potluck dinner will follow services where we can exchange stories and photos. After sundown, an auction to raise funds for Foundation Outreach International will be held. 

For those contributing an item for the auction, please send the name of the item and a brief description to the individual listed in the October monthly bulletin. Also, photos may be sent to the same person for a sllide show presentation which will be played during the potluck.

Sabbath Oct 9 - Post-Feast Potluck & FOI Auction Fundraiser

Columbia & Augusta will combine at the Columbia church hall for a post-Feast get together. We will enjoy a potluck dinner together where we can exchange Feast stories and share photos. After sundown, we will be having an auction to raise money for Foundation Outreach International. We ask that everyone who is interested to purchase an item at the Feast site you are attending to donate to the auction. If possible, find an item unique to the area where you will be for the Feast. Combined Meeting & Post Feast Potluck

Sabbath of November 2

Augusta and Columbia will combine at Columbia's church hall at 3 PM on November 2. We will have services followed by a potluck meal. Everyone is encouraged to bring any photos or memorabilia from the Feast site you attend. Plan now to take this opportunity to fellowship and share your Feast memories! Florence is welcome to join us.

Sabbath of October 26

After the Feast, services will be held in all 3 congregations at the regular time and place.

Sabbath of October 12

The opening service for the Feast of Tabernacles will be Sunday evening, October 13. Many members are leaving for the Feast in time to arrive at the site to attend services on the Sabbath of October 12. Therefore, local services are cancelled for the Augusta and Florence congregations. However,services will be held in Lexington, SC at 2 PM. Please note this is a one-time change in start of service for the Columbia congregation. Please visit the home page of this website for more details..
